The 10-day window introduced in 2020 continues to spread pilgrim flow.

Overview

  • TTD will restrict access to pre-issued token holders for the first three days, then allow walk-in darshan without tickets from January 2 to 8.
  • Devotees have been instructed to carry Aadhaar and a printed e-dIP token for verification during the token-only phase.
  • Srivari Sevaks, vigilance staff and roughly 3,000 police personnel are being deployed for queue control, safety and services.
  • Nearly 20 hours on Vaikunta Ekadasi are earmarked for the general public, with a target of about 70,000 darshans that day.
  • Major Vaishnavite temples in Tamil Nadu, including Srirangam and Triplicane, report reinforced queues, shelters, medical aid, extended timings and traffic controls.
