TTD Caps Vaikunta Dwara Access, Halts Srivani Ticket Sales as Year-End Rush Strains Tirumala

Only pre-issued tokens will be honored on December 30 to January 1 following 24.05 lakh registrations for 1.76 lakh slots.

Overview

  • TTD suspended offline Srivani ticket issuance from December 27 to 29 at Tirumala counters and Renigunta Airport due to heavy inflow.
  • Entry for the first three Vaikunta Dwara days is limited to devotees with pre-issued tokens, with Sarva Darshan set to resume on January 2.
  • Officials said the cap reflects the carrying capacity of the Vaikuntam queue complexes and inner temple circulation areas, prioritizing regulated movement.
  • TTD reported 24.05 lakh e-dip registrations against 1.76 lakh allotted slots, and projected 7.0–7.5 lakh darshans between December 30 and January 8.
  • Waits for general queues have stretched to about 24 hours, with recent daily counts at 73,524 darshans, 29,989 tonsures and ₹4.88 crore in hundi offerings, while Telangana temples and Medaram also reported elevated turnout.
