TTD Accepts Rs 5.6 Crore in Donations From Late IRS Officer and Corporate Donor

The trust will allocate a Hyderabad residence worth Rs 3 crore, Rs 66 lakh in cash plus a Rs 2 crore gift across six specialized spiritual and welfare trusts.

  • TTD officials received ‘Ananda Nilayam,’ a 3,500 square-foot Hyderabad residence valued at Rs 3 crore from the estate of late IRS officer YVSS Bhaskar Rao for spiritual activities.
  • Trustees M. Devaraj Reddy, V. Satyanarayana and B. Lokanath formally handed over the property documents and Rs 66 lakh cash cheques to Additional Executive Officer Ch. Venkaiah Chowdary at Ranganayakula Mandapam.
  • Rao’s cash donation of Rs 66 lakh has been designated among six specialized TTD trusts, with the largest share of Rs 36 lakh going to the Sri Venkateswara Annaprasadam Trust.
  • Hyderabad-based Trinity Combine Private Ltd contributed Rs 2 crore in multiple cheques to the Annaprasadam Trust during the same ceremony.
  • These donations brought the total received by TTD on July 24 to Rs 5.6 crore, bolstering its funds for religious services, pilgrim welfare and cultural initiatives.
