Overview
- Ceremonies begin 7 a.m. at Finch West Station with Mayor Olivia Chow and commemorative giveaways, with the inaugural train at 7:20 a.m., the first westbound at 7:33 a.m., and the first eastbound at 7:47 a.m.
- Initial operating window is a temporary soft opening schedule of 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday to Saturday and 7:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Sundays, with shuttle buses from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m.
- Trains are scheduled every six and a half minutes during weekday rush hours and every 10 to 12 minutes at other times.
- Riders must pay on platforms using Presto, credit or debit, with a single‑ride vending machine available for cash; onboard payment is not offered.
- Bus network changes take effect with Line 6, including removal of the 36C Finch West branch and new connections from routes such as 35 Jane, 41 Keele and several express services.
