TTC Employee Charged After Police Say She Stabbed Customer First at Dundas Station

Police say follow-up work determined the encounter involved mutual stabbings during a Nov. 26 dispute.

  • Toronto police charged TTC employee Rushell Tucker, 40, on Dec. 5 with aggravated assault, assault with a weapon, carrying a concealed weapon, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, and obstructing police.
  • Customer Gregory Bernard, 42, was arrested at the scene on Nov. 26 and charged with multiple assault and weapons offences before a Nov. 27 court appearance.
  • Investigators say a verbal altercation near the fare gates at Dundas (TMU) Station escalated when the employee stabbed the customer, after which the customer returned and stabbed the employee.
  • Both individuals sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to hospital, according to police and Toronto paramedics.
  • Police say the two did not know each other and each used a separate knife; Tucker’s first court appearance is set for January 2026.
