Three prefectural champions have secured their places at Hanshin Koshien Stadium for the 107th National High School Baseball Championship, with Kagawa and Nara set to name their qualifiers ahead of the August 5 opening.

Overview

  • Tsuda Gakuen defeated Tsu Commercial 1–0 in the Mie final to claim its third prefectural title in six years and advance to the national tournament.
  • Koryo High edged Sotoku 2–1 in a 10th-inning tiebreak in Hiroshima to capture a third straight championship and its 26th overall.
  • Kamimura Gakuen overwhelmed Reimei 15–6 in Kagoshima, completing a first-ever three-peat and earning an eighth Koshien appearance.
  • Eimei and Jinsei Gakuen will face off July 27 at Rexam Stadium to decide Kagawa’s representative, while Chiben Gakuen meets Tenri July 28 in Nara.
  • All qualifiers will converge at Hanshin Koshien Stadium when the national championship begins on August 5.
