  • Mark Liu, Chairman of Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. (TSMC), announced his retirement in 2024. Liu has been with TSMC since 1993 and became its chairman in 2018.
  • Current Vice Chairman and CEO C.C. Wei is recommended to succeed Liu, subject to board's approval. Wei joined TSMC in 1998 and has been on its board of directors since 2017.
