TSB Flensburg Wins Prestigious 'Großer Stern des Sports' Award

The 'Großer Stern des Sports' competition, organized by the German Olympic Sports Confederation (DOSB) and Volksbanken, recognizes outstanding societal contributions by sports clubs.
Second place went to the Werrepiraten Ostwestfalen for their kayaking initiative supporting disadvantaged youth, while the Turnverein Gengenbach earned third place for its outdoor sports programs in local vineyards.
All 17 finalists, representing various German states, were celebrated for their community impact, with record participation in organized sports highlighted as a sign of recovery post-pandemic.
