• The Telangana State Council of Higher Education has allocated 107,218 engineering seats across 171 colleges with 70% reserved under the convenor quota.
• Computer science branches lead the matrix with 26,150 seats in CSE, followed by 12,495 in CSE (AI & ML), 10,125 in ECE and 6,996 in CSE (Data Science).
• Web counselling launch was delayed from the scheduled 10:00 am to 6:30 pm on July 6 and will remain open for preference entry until July 10.
• A total of 95,654 candidates have paid the processing fee and booked counselling slots, and final certificate verification is due by July 8 to secure Phase I allotment.
• Participation dropped from 175 to 171 colleges after some private institutions closed or gained deemed-university status, reshaping this year’s counselling pool.
