  • The Índice de Confianza en el Gobierno rose to 2.47, marking a second straight monthly gain after October’s 8.1% rise and the highest level since February.
  • All five subindices advanced, with overall government evaluation up 30.6%, capacity at 2.93 (+18.6%), honesty at 2.81 (+12.4%), efficiency at 2.32 (+12.6%) and interest at 2.02 (+16.8%).

  • Despite the monthly rebound, the index is 7.3% below a year earlier, 16.8% under November 2017, and 69.8% above November 2021.
  • Poliarquía surveyed 1,008 adults nationwide Nov. 3–14 (95% CI 2.34–2.60), with trust far higher among those expecting economic improvement (ICG 4.14), and some outlets noting the timing overlapped with talk of a U.S. economic “shielding” agreement without UTDT assigning causality.
