Trump's Lawyer Tacopina Leaves Legal Team, Cites 'Serious Cases'

Tacopina, who represented Trump in previous trials, believes it's 'absolutely' possible for Trump to be convicted in upcoming criminal trials.

Joseph Tacopina, a former lawyer for Donald Trump, has left the ex-president's legal team, citing personal reasons and stating 'it was just my time'.
Tacopina represented Trump in his first trial against E. Jean Carroll, a writer whom Trump was found liable of defaming and sexually abusing.
Tacopina has withdrawn from all matters concerning Trump, including the appeal of the verdict in the first Carroll trial and Trump's New York criminal trial.
In an interview, Tacopina stated that he believes the cases brought against Trump by special counsel Jack Smith, as well as the election interference case in Georgia, are 'serious cases' that are 'not to be taken lightly'.
Tacopina also stated that it is 'absolutely' possible that Trump could be convicted in the upcoming criminal trials.
