Trump Vows Heavy Force on Protesters at Army’s 250th Anniversary Parade

Overview

  • The parade will commence at 6:30 p.m. EDT on June 14 along Constitution Avenue NW between 15th and 23rd streets, capping a daylong Army birthday festival.
  • Organizers expect about 200,000 spectators and have scheduled over 6,700 troops to march alongside 28 M1A1 Abrams tanks and a 50-aircraft flyover.
  • Security checkpoints will use 175 magnetometers complemented by drone surveillance and canine units to screen attendees.
