Trump to Address Congress on 'Renewal of the American Dream' with Focus on Border Security and National Unity

President Trump’s first congressional speech as the 47th president will highlight his administration's achievements, plans for international peace, and personal stories of Americans affected by illegal immigration and crime.

President Trump’s address will center around four themes: the economy, border security, domestic and international accomplishments, and plans for global peace.
Guests include families of victims of crimes committed by illegal immigrants, such as Laken Riley and Jocelyn Nungaray, to underscore Trump’s push for stricter border policies.
Payton McNabb, a high school athlete injured in an incident involving a transgender player, will attend as part of the president’s focus on gender ideology issues.
Marc Fogel, recently released from Russian detention, will be present to highlight the administration’s foreign policy successes.
The speech will also feature stories of “everyday heroes,” including a steelworker, a foster care advocate, and the widow of a slain NYPD officer.
