The order bans transgender women from participating in female sports events at schools and colleges receiving federal funding.
It also directs the Department of Homeland Security to deny visas to male-born athletes identifying as women for events like the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.
J.K. Rowling, along with athletes Martina Navratilova and Sharron Davies, praised the move, criticizing the Left for undermining women’s rights in sports.
Rowling argued that gender ideology has negatively impacted freedom of speech, scientific truth, and the safety and dignity of women and girls.
