Trump Endorses Jerrod Sessler Against Rep. Dan Newhouse in Washington's 4th District

Former President Donald Trump continues his efforts to influence GOP primaries by endorsing Jerrod Sessler, aiming to unseat one of the last Republicans who voted for his impeachment.

Donald Trump has endorsed Jerrod Sessler, a Navy veteran and former NASCAR driver, to challenge Rep. Dan Newhouse (R-WA) in Washington's 4th Congressional District.
Newhouse, who voted to impeach Trump following the January 6 Capitol riot, is one of only two such Republicans still serving in the House.
This marks Trump's second attempt to oust Newhouse, following a failed endorsement in the 2022 elections.
Sessler, endorsed by Trump, is described as a staunch MAGA supporter and has also received backing from key figures like Michael Flynn and Roger Stone.
Trump's endorsement reflects his ongoing strategy to remove Republicans he deems disloyal, particularly those who supported his impeachment.
