Overview

• A task force led by Attorney General Pam Bondi issued an initial report, obtained Sept. 5 by conservative outlets, and the Trump White House said the findings show Joe Biden weaponized government against Christians.
• The report cites the Defense Department, EEOC and Labor Department for deprioritizing, mishandling or denying religious-exemption requests to COVID-19 vaccine mandates.
• It says the Biden Justice Department brought roughly two dozen prosecutions under the FACE Act against pro-life demonstrators while failing to use the law to protect churches and pregnancy centers.
• Examples include an FBI memo targeting “radical-traditionalist” Catholics and State Department practices that allegedly disadvantaged Christians in humanitarian relief, hiring and leave, with added claims of stigmatizing vaccine objectors and pursuing IG probes and IRS referrals of Christian homeschool parents who were federal employees.
