Trump's comments were in response to claims made in a new book by ABC News reporter Jonathan Karl, which alleges that Trump asked Kardashian to use her celebrity status to bring football stars to the White House in exchange for commuting prison sentences.
Trump denied the claims and stated that he did grant prison commutations, but did so more for Kardashian's ex-husband, Kanye West, than for Kardashian herself.
Kardashian had previously met with Trump in the Oval Office in 2018 to discuss prison reform and advocate for the pardoning of Alice Johnson, who was serving a life sentence on nonviolent drug and money laundering charges.
Trump also suggested that Kardashian likely voted for Joe Biden in the 2020 presidential election.
