Overview

  • A Department of Homeland Security spokesperson confirmed an active investigation into Roland Beainy over alleged marriage fraud and said the I-130 petition underpinning his green card has been revoked.
  • In a January 10 USCIS letter to Beainy’s wife, officials cited a lack of shared lease or cohabitation evidence as grounds to challenge the legitimacy of their marriage.
  • Beainy is slated to appear before an immigration judge in Houston on November 18, 2025, where the fate of his and his wife’s residency status will be decided.
  • Separately, a Fayette County civil lawsuit filed April 19 by Beainy claiming a 50% stake in Trump Burger remains unresolved as co-owner Eddie Hawa counters that no contract exists and seeks $1 million in damages.
  • All Trump Burger outlets in Texas continue operating under a cloud of litigation and a recent cease-and-desist from the Trump Organization over the unauthorized use of its branding.
