 - Approval has declined across partisan and demographic groups since late last year, marking the lowest level of Trump’s second term and his highest disapproval across both presidencies.
 - Democrats lead the district-level vote 47% to 42%, with independents favoring Democrats 44% to 31%, and reported enthusiasm is higher among Democratic-aligned voters.
 - Public mood is dour: 68% say the country is on the wrong track and 72% rate the economy as in poor condition, with nearly half citing the economy and cost of living as top concerns.
 - Majorities say Trump’s policies worsened economic conditions (61%) and that he exceeded presidential powers (61%), while roughly 80% view the recent federal shutdown as a crisis or major problem.
