Trump Appoints Devin Nunes to Lead Intelligence Advisory Board

The former congressman and Truth Social CEO will oversee the advisory board while continuing his role at Trump Media & Technology Group.

President-elect Donald Trump has named Devin Nunes as chairman of the President’s Intelligence Advisory Board, a panel providing independent assessments of U.S. intelligence operations.
Nunes, a former California congressman and current CEO of Trump’s Truth Social platform, will retain his corporate role while serving on the advisory board.
Trump highlighted Nunes' experience as chair of the House Intelligence Committee and his role in challenging the FBI’s Russia investigation during Trump’s first term.
The board, composed of private citizens, advises the president on the effectiveness and propriety of the intelligence community’s activities without requiring Senate confirmation.
This appointment is part of Trump’s ongoing effort to fill key administration roles ahead of his second term, with other recent nominees including Kash Patel for FBI director and Ric Grenell for a newly created envoy position.
