Trueo Announces Migration From Base to Ethereum Mainnet
Moving to Ethereum aims to tap deeper liquidity to enable a next-generation oracle for disputed prediction-market outcomes.
Overview
- Trueo published a plan to move its onchain binary prediction-market protocol from Base to Ethereum and asked users not to create new Base markets that expire after January 31, 2027.
- The project said Base will remain live during the transition so trading, settlement and redemptions continue on the current deployment.
- Public records and third-party data still show Trueo’s contracts and all tracked TVL on Base, and the team has not published Ethereum mainnet contract addresses or set a deadline for TRUE token migration.
- Trueo uses an optimistic resolution model with a 12-hour challenge window and multi-stage dispute escalation and said the Ethereum launch will include a next-generation oracle; Vitalik Buterin publicly praised the project and urged decentralized, non‑financialized oracles plus private attester voting to reduce pressure on outcome voters.
- The protocol mints yield-bearing TYD via a Yearn-powered USDC vault to offset opportunity cost, uses Uniswap v4 hooks for non-custodial YES/NO tokens, and is governed by a 100 million-supply TRUE token with 40% earmarked for Patron NFTs and airdrops.
