Overview
- The incident occurred around 11 a.m. at the Privilion Building project of RRC Ventures near Marol Naka in Andheri East.
- Victim Amar Anand Pagare, 30, a helper delivering cement blocks from Nashik with driver Anil Kachru Kokane, was struck on the head by a rod falling from the seventh floor.
- Workers rushed Pagare to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared him dead on arrival.
- MIDC Police registered an FIR under Section 106 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita against the developer and those responsible for site safety, and have recorded statements from the site supervisor and manager.
