A concrete truck driver admitted to using cocaine before causing a fatal crash with a school bus in Texas, killing a 5-year-old boy and a man.
The crash occurred on March 22, involving a school bus carrying pre-K students from Tom Green Elementary School returning from a zoo field trip.
Dashcam footage released by the Hays Consolidated Independent School District shows the truck crossing over the center line and colliding with the bus.
The school bus, a 2011 model, did not have seatbelts. Newer buses have been fitted with belts since 2017.
Investigations are ongoing, and no charges have been filed against the truck driver yet.
