- At 4 a.m. ET, the center was about 235 km south-southeast of the tip of Baja California, carrying sustained winds near 75 km/h and moving northwest at roughly 26 km/h, according to the U.S. National Hurricane Center.
- Mexico kept tropical-storm warnings in place from Manzanillo to Cabo Corrientes, including Islas Marías, and from Los Barriles to Santa Fe in Baja California Sur.
