Overview

• Ohio State Highway Patrol says a traffic stop of an unplated 2025 Kia K4 around 5:25 p.m. on Woodland Avenue led to a pursuit after the driver refused to pull over.
• Two occupants fled on foot toward campus and allegedly tried to carjack a Cadillac and a Chevy SUV while armed, and a firearm was later recovered.
• Troopers confronted 18-year-old Leon Terrell near Tomlinson Hall on Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, where a trooper shot him in the leg; he was treated and released at University Hospitals.
