• Alex Bent announced his departure on Oct. 3 via Trivium’s official channels, expressing gratitude and continued support for the band.
• No successor has been revealed, and it is unclear who will handle drums for the Aftershock festival in Sacramento on Oct. 4.
• The band is scheduled to start The Ascend Above The Ashes U.S. tour on Oct. 31 in Myrtle Beach with special guests Jinjer and Heriot.
• Trivium plans to release the three-song EP Struck Dead on Oct. 31 through Roadrunner, recorded with producer Mark Lewis and mixed/mastered by Josh Wilbur.
• Bent joined in 2016 and played on The Sin and the Sentence, What the Dead Men Say, and In the Court of the Dragon.
