  • The Thruxton 400 was spotted without camouflage in India during a television commercial shoot, indicating its final production form.
  • The 398cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine borrowed from the Speed 400 is expected to deliver roughly 39.5–40 hp and 37.5–38 Nm through a six-speed gearbox.
  • Café-racer styling drawn from the Thruxton 1200 includes a semi-fairing, bar-end mirrors, raked windscreen and rear seat cowl in a dual-tone red and silver scheme.
  • Underpinnings feature USD front forks, a preload-adjustable rear monoshock, 17-inch cast alloy wheels, dual-channel ABS, traction control and a semi-digital instrument cluster.
  • The bike is expected to carry an ex-showroom price of Rs 2.5–2.8 lakh in India and will compete with the KTM RC390 and Royal Enfield Continental GT 650.
