Tripura CM Opens Three-Day Diwali Mela at Revamped Tripura Sundari Temple

• Authorities have deployed over 3,000 security personnel with 37 CCTV cameras and 10 watchtowers, supplemented by district police, CRPF and volunteer teams.
• Two special Northeast Frontier Railway trains are running October 20–22 on the Agartala–Dharmanagar and Agartala–Sabroom routes to handle festival crowds.
• The 524-year-old temple was redeveloped at a cost exceeding Rs 54 crore, with Rs 34.43 crore from the Centre and Rs 17.61 crore from the Tripura government.
