Tricia Cullop Appointed as UM's New Women's Basketball Coach

Tricia Cullop has been hired as the University of Miami's new women's basketball coach, succeeding Katie Meier who retired last month.
Cullop led the Toledo Rockets to 353 wins, 11 postseason appearances, and seven championships during her 16-year tenure.
Recognized for her leadership, Cullop was named MAC Coach of the Year six times and received the WBCA Carol Eckman Integrity in Coaching Award in 2022.
Under Cullop's guidance, Toledo's women's basketball team saw significant fan engagement, ranking top 30 in the country in attendance for 10 of the past 11 seasons.
Cullop's appointment is seen as a strategic move to build on the Hurricanes' winning tradition and enhance the program's national profile.
