Tribute Concert for Sinéad O’Connor and Shane MacGowan Set for March 20 at Carnegie Hall

- An all-star tribute concert to Sinéad O’Connor and Shane MacGowan will take place at Carnegie Hall in New York on March 20, a few days after St. Patrick’s Day.
- The concert will feature sets from Cat Power, Glen Hansard, Dropkick Murphys, The Mountain Goats, Amanda Palmer and David Gray, among others.
- VIP packages for the concert, which range from $300 to $20,000, offer various levels of access, including the opportunity to help arrange the order of the songs for the show.
- All net proceeds from the show will go to PEN America, a nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting the freedom to write in the United States and around the world.
- O’Connor passed away at 56 in July and MacGowan at 65 in November last year.
