Tribute Concert for Sinéad O’Connor and Shane MacGowan Set for March 20 at Carnegie Hall

The concert, featuring performances from Cat Power, Glen Hansard, and others, will donate all net proceeds to PEN America.

An all-star tribute concert to Sinéad O’Connor and Shane MacGowan will take place at Carnegie Hall in New York on March 20, a few days after St. Patrick’s Day.
The concert will feature sets from Cat Power, Glen Hansard, Dropkick Murphys, The Mountain Goats, Amanda Palmer and David Gray, among others.
VIP packages for the concert, which range from $300 to $20,000, offer various levels of access, including the opportunity to help arrange the order of the songs for the show.
All net proceeds from the show will go to PEN America, a nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting the freedom to write in the United States and around the world.
O’Connor passed away at 56 in July and MacGowan at 65 in November last year.
