An employment tribunal confirmed forensic evidence of the bribery, ruling that Daniels' gifts had no innocent explanation.
EDF, the owner of Hinkley Point C, has launched an internal investigation into the misconduct and pledged to enforce high ethical standards.
Nisbet won an unfair dismissal claim due to procedural failings in his termination but was denied compensation as his involvement in the bribery was substantiated.
