Treyarch Unlocks Black Ops 7’s Endgame for All Players Today

The studio says the change reflects a rapid response to early player feedback favoring the new PvE mode over the co‑op campaign.

Overview

  • Starting November 21, Endgame no longer requires completing the campaign and is available from the main menu to everyone.
  • Players who had already unlocked Endgame by finishing the campaign will receive 3 one‑hour Double Level XP tokens, 3 Double Weapon XP tokens, 3 Double Battle Pass XP tokens, and 3 Perkaholic GobbleGums.
  • Endgame is a 32‑player PvE extraction mode on the Avalon map where squads complete objectives, power up, and exfil to bank progress and rewards.
  • In a Dev Talk, Treyarch outlined near‑term tuning: across‑the‑board SMG buffs, a nerf to the Drone Pod Field Upgrade, spawn tweaks for Hardpoint/FFA/TDM, slight aim‑assist increase before Season 1, equipment buffs, and a wider minimap range.
  • The access change follows strong player reception to Endgame and widespread criticism of the campaign within the first week after launch.
