Treyarch Rolls Out Disconnect Protection for Black Ops 7’s Endgame

A snapshot taken at deployment preserves your Combat Rating if a connection drops.

Overview

  • A November 25 micro‑patch now snapshots Combat Rating at the start of each Endgame match, restoring that value if a disconnect occurs.
  • Players who lose connection resume their next deployment at the recorded Combat Rating, but progress from the interrupted run is not retained.
  • The safeguard applies only to disconnects, as deaths or failed extractions still reset Combat Rating to zero with associated losses.
  • Treyarch says it is exploring more robust forms of disconnect protection for future updates.
  • The change arrives ahead of Season 1 on December 4, which adds Endgame world events and boss fights like a zombie T‑Rex and the Origins robot, following player complaints about progress wipes and after Endgame was opened to all players.
