Star forward Trevor Zegras has re-signed with the Anaheim Ducks on a 3-year, $5.75 million per year contract worth a total of $17.25 million.
The 21-year-old was a restricted free agent after his entry-level deal expired at the end of last season.
Zegras is considered one of the most skilled young players in the NHL, tallying 49 goals and 139 points through his first 180 career games.
The contract comes as the Ducks are in rebuilding mode after finishing with the league's worst record last season.
