- Organizers switched to a preplanned 3,200‑metre course with start and finish at the Real Club Náutico de Vigo after maritime authorities refused permission to cross the ría due to an incoming ship from Lisbon and the departure of a container vessel.
- Xoel Cubeiro won the elite men’s race in 38:16.10 and Alba Ortiz took the elite women’s title in 43:19.10, with full podiums recorded for both elite and popular categories.
- In the popular race Manuel Castro finished first in 45:45.95 and Rosalía García led the women in 50:30.90, while infantiles and master categories completed their races under the modified route.
- Safety and logistics relied on coordinated work by the Náutico, Capitanía Marítima, Gardacostas, Guardia Civil and local clubs using kayaks and rescue craft to monitor swimmers in 19°C water.
