Transgender Teen Stabbed in Planned Attack by Masked Group in London

The 18-year-old victim was lured to a car park under false pretenses and attacked by a group of youths in a transphobic assault orchestrated on Snapchat.

  • The attack occurred in February 2024, when the victim was ambushed by five masked individuals in Harrow, northwest London, after being invited to a fake roller disco outing.
  • Summer Betts-Ramsey, 20, was identified as the primary assailant, stabbing the victim at least 14 times while others in the group kicked, punched, and used roller skates to strike her.
  • The assault was motivated by hostility toward the victim's transgender identity, which was revealed to the group after a sexual encounter with one of the attackers, Bradley Harris, 18.
  • The group planned the attack via a Snapchat conversation, during which slurs and threats were exchanged, and later posted footage of the assault on social media.
  • The victim sustained severe injuries, including stab wounds to her thighs and abdomen, and continues to suffer from panic attacks, nightmares, and difficulty trusting others.
