  • On May 19, unidentified individuals attempted to derail the New DelhiDibrugarh Rajdhani Express and Kathgodam Express near kilometre marker 1129/14 in Hardoi district, Uttar Pradesh.
  • Loco pilots of both trains spotted the obstructions, applied emergency brakes, and removed the wooden blocks tied with earthing wire, averting possible accidents.
  • The Government Railway Police (GRP), Railway Protection Force (RPF), and local police have launched a joint investigation into the incidents, though no arrests have been made yet.
  • The affected track section was inspected by railway and law enforcement teams and declared safe for operations by 7:30 PM on the same evening.
