Train Delays Follow Electrical Fault on Recently Renovated Riedbahn Line

The issue caused delays of approximately 25-30 minutes for passengers, though no train cancellations have been reported so far.
Trains are being rerouted via Darmstadt while repair crews work to resolve the problem on-site.
The disruption comes just days after the Riedbahn line reopened following a nearly six-month closure for extensive renovations, including upgrades to tracks, signals, and overhead lines.
One track has already been reopened, and efforts to fully restore service are ongoing.
