Overview

• The collision occurred in the early hours of September 5 on Avenida Oceanía between the Oceanía and Romero Rubio stations in Venustiano Carranza.
• A white box trailer with license plates 742DN1 struck a support column, leaving the male driver trapped in the cab and later declared dead.
• Emergency teams from SSC, the city fire department, ERUM and paramedics responded, cordoned the area and began recovery and investigation work.
• STC Metro director Adrián Rubalcava said inspections found no primary structural damage and Line B remains in normal operation from Buenavista to Ciudad Azteca.
