• India's wireless subscriber base reached 1,167.03 million in August with a net gain of 35.19 lakh users, according to TRAI.

• Active mobile users rose to 1,086.18 million, representing 93.07% of the total wireless base.
• Broadband subscriptions climbed 0.50% month on month to 989.58 million.
• FWA recategorisation led to a sector wireline decline of about 1.61 million, including a 15.5 lakh drop in Jio's reported wireline base, while MNP requests totaled 15.05 million.
