Tragic Rally Car Crash in Hungary Claims Four Lives, Injures Eight

A rally car accident during a race in northern Hungary resulted in four fatalities and multiple injuries, including serious harm to a child.

Four individuals were killed and at least eight others were injured when a rally car veered off the road and struck spectators.
The incident occurred during a rally race between the towns of Labatlan and Bajot, near the Danube River in northwest Hungary.
Police have launched an investigation into the cause of the crash, which led to the race being halted.
Among the injured, one child was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, while others suffered lighter injuries.
This is not the first tragic incident at a Hungarian rally car race, with previous accidents in 2013, 2019, and 2022 also resulting in injuries and fatalities.
