Tragic New York House Fire Claims Lives of Cape Cod Mother and Daughter

Shannon Hubbard, a Massachusetts preschool teacher, and her daughter Maggie died in a house fire at a vacation rental in Clinton, New York.
The fire occurred on the night of October 13, with first responders arriving around 10:40 p.m.
Shannon's husband, John Hubbard, a Dennis police officer, and their 3-year-old son, Jack, survived with non-life-threatening injuries.
The Monomoy Regional School District and Dennis Police Department have expressed deep condolences and are providing support to the family.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by New York State Police
