Tragic House Fire in Zion, Illinois Claims Three Lives

An overnight blaze in a Chicago suburb leaves three dead and one hospitalized as investigators probe the cause.

Firefighters responded to the blaze late Tuesday night in a two-story home in Zion, approximately 48 miles from Chicago.
High winds complicated efforts to extinguish the fire, which took nearly four hours to fully control.
The deceased have been identified as Scott Copen, 58, Gina Copen, 54, and Cristal Copen, 41.
A neighbor was hospitalized due to smoke inhalation, but their condition remains undisclosed.
The cause of the fire is under investigation, with no preliminary findings released yet.
