Traffic Curbs, School Closures Persist as Amit Shah Continues Pune Tour

Movement bans on heavy vehicles will remain active until mid-afternoon to accommodate his unveiling of a Peshwa statue at the National Defence Academy

Shah's city visit will begin in the morning by unveiling a statue of Shreemant Thorle Bajirao Peshwa at the NDA in Khadakwasla.

Overview

  • Traffic movement across Katraj–Uruli Devachi is restricted from 11:30 am to 3:30 pm, extending to 5 pm for goods and heavy vehicles
  • One-way corridors between Mor Odha and I.B. Chowk have been converted to two-way traffic to ease diversions
  • Schools in Undri, Kondhwa and Uruli Devachi have shut or moved classes online for July 4
  • Shah has unveiled a Peshwa statue at the National Defence Academy and laid the foundation stone for the Jayraj Sports and Convention Centre
  • His remaining schedule includes visiting Balasaheb Deora Hospital and inaugurating the PHRC Health City on Wadachiwadi Road
