Trader Joe's Recalls Over 30 Tons of Dumplings Due to Plastic Contamination

Trader Joe's has issued a recall for over 61,000 pounds of its Steamed Chicken Soup Dumplings due to potential contamination with hard plastic.
The recall was initiated after consumers reported finding bits of plastic in the dumplings, which were produced on December 7, 2023.
Customers are advised to discard the product or return it to any Trader Joe's store for a full refund.
The recalled dumplings have a best by date of 03.07.25 and lot codes C1-1 or C1-2.
This recall follows a previous recall of products containing potentially contaminated cheese, including chicken enchiladas verde and cilantro salad dressing.
