Trader Joe's has recalled 750ml bottles of Gerolsteiner Sparkling Natural Mineral Water due to a glass defect posing a laceration hazard.
The recall involves bottles with lot numbers 11/28/2024 L and 11/27/2024 L, sold between December 2024 and January 2025 across 12 states.
The defect, identified during production research, affects an estimated 1% of the bottles in the specified lots.
Customers are advised to stop using the bottles immediately, dispose of them carefully, or return them to Trader Joe's for a full refund.
Gerolsteiner has addressed the supplier-related quality issue that caused the defect, and no injuries have been reported to date.
