  • Responders traversed more than a mile of rugged, unpaved terrain by pickup truck and all-wheel-drive utility vehicle to bring chains and other rescue equipment to the site
  • Within 25 minutes of arrival, crews used chains and a heavy-duty front loader to lift the overturned tractor and free the man
  • The elderly driver was flown by University of Wisconsin Health Med Flight to OSF St. Anthony Medical Center, where he remains in critical condition
