• Tractive acquired Whistle from Mars Petcare and will shut down the Whistle tracking platform on August 31, 2025.
• Existing Whistle users can claim a free Tractive tracker by September 30, 2025, by registering online with their device serial number and selecting a new subscription.
• Customers with more than two months left on Whistle plans will see remaining time carry over, while those with less will pay upfront but receive two complimentary service months.
• Tractive’s Basic subscription is priced at $108 annually or $144 for two years and includes GPS location, health monitoring, activity tracking and virtual fence alerts.
• Premium subscriptions cost $120 per year, $168 for two years or $300 for five years and add worldwide coverage, family sharing, year-long location history and data export, with replacement devices backed by two-year warranties.
