Overview

• The robbery at the Fulton Bank on Trindle Road in Camp Hill was reported at about 10:27 a.m., when a man wielding a hammer smashed plexiglass and a teller’s computer and demanded cash.
• Police say the suspect fled with money that contained a tracking device, which guided officers to a gas station at South 10th and Lowther streets in Lemoyne.
• As officers confronted the suspect near a white Nissan Rogue with Massachusetts plates, he jumped into the driver’s seat and struck three police vehicles while escaping, disabling the SUV a short distance away.
• A Lower Allen Township officer was treated for minor injuries after being thrown off the suspect’s vehicle during the confrontation, according to court documents.
• Darius R. Hall, 34, is held without bond as a flight risk and faces robbery, aggravated assault and related charges, while Shamecka Kendralee York, 47, is jailed on $400,000 bail on robbery, theft and conspiracy charges.
