Tracey Edmonds, television and film producer, has clarified that it was her decision to end the engagement with Deion Sanders, NFL legend and Colorado Buffaloes football coach.
The couple announced their split on December 3, 2023, in a joint statement, after being engaged since 2019.
Edmonds and Sanders met in 2012 and initially had a work relationship, as they were collaborating on Sanders' reality show, 'Deion’s Family Playbook.'
Edmonds stated that she chose to prioritize herself and her family, seeking a future where she is valued, treated with honesty, and free to embrace the happiness and respect she deserves.
Despite the breakup, Sanders is focusing on the next college football season, with a priority to improve the offensive line of the Colorado Buffaloes.
